As an Associate Director - Loss Prevention you will protect the property and provide a safe environment for guests and staff. Responsible for full supervision and direction of the safety and security of all Canyon Ranch guests, staff and property and enforcing such in accordance with all operating procedures. You will be responsible for the selection, on-boarding, training/development, counseling and termination of security staff. You will manage all employment aspects: interviewing and hiring; training; scheduling and coordinating work assignments; evaluating performance; coaching and disciplining staff; and coordinating exit process. You will ensure full compliance with OSHA standards and preventive measures-conducts and documents required training in departments/areas throughout the property. Develops, regularly reviews and periodically tests all property emergency plans. Ensures program in place to deliver required CPR/First Aid training to designated staff. Tracks all departmental safety records and certification requirements per OSHA, CPR, etc. Develops, communicates and executes Lost and Found procedures for property and maintains Lost and Found archive. Investigates all incidents, thefts, property loss and unlawful activities.


Associate degree or two-year equivalent specialized training is preferred.

To be successful in this role you will need 3-5 years of management and performance based experience in related field, and having previous experience in a hospitality setting is preferred.

You will also need to be CPR and First Aid certified within three (3) months of employment. You will need to have a valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record. You will need the ability to handle and/or prevent stressful and emergency situations. Proficient skills in Microsoft office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Excellent organizational and management skills.
