L3Harris Applied Defense Solutions is seeking a self-starting, team oriented Software Developer to join a team of developers working on Functionals (plugins) for an intelligence community software tool called Joint Enterprise Modeling and Analytics (JEMA).JEMA is a user-driven, model-based analytic framework that support analysts and JEMA Functionals provide access to data sources needed by analysts. The successful candidate will have the ability to work in a collaborative agile team environment.Primary team responsibilities will be designing, developing, testing, and deploying JEMA Functionals.

Duties:
Responsible for supporting an agile team in the development, testing, and publishing of application software
Support development efforts towards successful project delivery while adhering to high-quality development principles to effect delivery of solutions on-time and on-budget
Assist in the collection and documentation of user's requirements, development of user stories, estimates and roadmaps/plans
Interface with application users and other contractors to ensure the successful integration, testing and transition of the application to operations
Analyze and resolve technical and application problems
Provide technical support to teammates through coaching and mentorship as required
Participate in peer-reviews of solution designs and related code

Qualifications

Clearance - Current TS/SCI with CI Polygraph

Required:
Bachelor�s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
7 to 10 (or more) years in software development/engineering, including requirements analysis, software development, installation, integration, evaluation, enhancement, maintenance, testing, and problem diagnosis/resolution
Proficient in Java
Recent experience in Agile development environment
Knowledge of consuming and writing web services (e.g. REST and SOAP) with an understanding how to set HTTP headers
Knowledge and experience with Postgres SQL and PostGIS
Knowledge and experience with Apache Ant
Knowledge of Atlassian Tool suite (JIRA, Bitbucket, Confluence)
Internally motivated, able to work proficiently both independently and in a team environment
Strong communication skills with both internal team members and external government and contractor members/teams

Desired:
Understanding of PKI and certificate services
Knowledge and experience with KML, JSON, XML, and screen scraping
JEMA experience is a plus. If no experience, must be willing to attend JEMA training

This position can be hired at either a Level 3 or Level 4 based on the candidate's qualifications as they relate to the skills, experience and responsibility requirements for the position.
