American Beauty seeks General Manager for new restaurant opening at The Grove!
The team behind longtime LA neighborhood staples Superba Food + Bread, Superba Snacks + Coffee, The Win~Dow and Pitfire Pizza continues its expansion with a second American Beauty Steakhouse this fall! Our first location on Rose Ave in Venice innovates the genre, focusing on chef driven product and technique, uniquely curated and crafted drinks, all served in a highly designed yet casual dining room, horseshoe bar, and lush patio.
We are looking for a professional and experienced General Manager who is passionate about hospitality and seeks growth in an expanding company. The right person will be experienced in leading a large team of managers and staff, have a proven track record of successfully opening restaurants, and will be dedicated to our standards, and people.
WE OFFER:
- Opportunity to lead a multi-concept restaurant (Oversee two spaces including American Beauty and The Win~Dow)
We have Breakfast/lunch/brunch/dinner offerings and a full craft cocktail program and extensive wine list
- Base salary $110,000 to $125,000 plus benefits, bonus potential and perks

QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3-5 years of experience as a General Manager in a contemporary, chef driven, full-service restaurant, opening experience a plus
- Proven track record in developing and leading a successful team to excellence
- Advanced knowledge and understanding of business ops and financials
- Significant wine and spirit knowledge and an understanding of industry trends
- Quick problem solver with a knack for turning tough situations into positive outcomes
- A flexible schedule. Mornings, nights, weekends and holidays are required
