We have an immediate opening for a Junior Bedding Designer. You must be creative and energetic. Have a great color sense and capabilites of CAD design. This position is responsible to assist the design team with customer and market developments.

Essential Functions:
Collaborate with Bedding Design team, Design Director, and SVP of Design to be part of the strategic process.
Design successful productfor market following the guideline of the market line plan and calendar
Design successful product for assigned customer projects and brands
Collaborate on all market preparation and Trend Gallery presentation
Collaborate on creating trend and color direction
Work with Overseas merchandising team
Provide guidelines on product development.(mappings, create pre techs, engravings and artwork)
Describe end goals visually
Research and understand the market landscape, price points and competition
Attend local trade shows, art and design shows
Trend and competitive shopping local markets
Build on market and design knowledge by reading trade papers and magazines

Communication & Collaboration:
Attend customer presentations when applicable
Oversee the preparation of customer and meeting presentations
Provide Product Coordinators with necessary information to complete customer photo specs and market books, i.e. jpegs, product names, colors, sizes, etc.

IV. Qualifications
Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in graphic design or a related field required.

Specialized Knowledge: Strong technical competencies of design. CAD skills, Photoshop and Illustrator are mandatory.
