Job Overview
We are looking for enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Art Instructors and Sales Associates. In this hybrid role, you will engage customers by providing excellent service and teaching art classes, helping them create beautiful artwork. No prior teaching experience is necessary—we’ll provide all the training you need!
As a Sales Associate, you will assist customers with their purchases, manage inventory, and ensure the store is clean and welcoming. As an Art Instructor, you will lead fluid art and resin art classes for individuals and groups.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome customers with a friendly attitude and provide excellent service throughout their visit.
- Process sales transactions, operate the cash register, and handle cash and credit card payments.
- Issue receipts, process refunds, and manage returns as needed.
- Teach art classes (fluid art, resin art) to students of various skill levels.
- Stock shelves, process inventory, and maintain the store’s appearance and cleanliness.
- Follow all safety and loss prevention procedures.
- Support store promotions and product initiatives.
- Continuously build product knowledge to better assist customers with their purchases.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with customers professionally.
- Basic math and literacy skills (reading, counting, writing).
- Experience in customer service or retail is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Comfortable using a cash register and handling transactions.
- Flexible availability, including weekends (required).
