This is an excellent opportunity to leave your imprint and showcase your skills in the area of Human Centered Design. Our customer, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), has introduced product management and human-centered design into the CMS policymaking process. This allows CMS to write less complicated policies that carry more impact.

Design and structure the human-centered research portion of projects by planning for and then leading teams through fieldwork, findings analysis and insights syntheses
Design and develop complex graphics
Collaborate with teammates to translate insights into powerful stories and strategic designs for innovative products, services, spaces, interactions and experiences
Monitor customer experience trends and best practices to help implement appropriate practices
Facilitate meeting with executive and senior leadership to communicate analysis and understanding of data including robust business concepts gained during the research

Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or health-related field; Master's Degree in Healthcare field is a plus
Strong and extensive experience/knowledge of CMS (Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services) rules and regulations
Two (2) to three (3) years of professional work experience with an understanding of areas such as Medicare and Medicaid
Exceptional communication skills with fluency and confidence in inspiring teammates and clients with user-driven rationale; experience in not only telling stories but also translating insights into actionable ideas/design
High comfort level in working within a self-directed culture and navigating ambiguity
Extensive experience of user centered design principles and best practices, visual design, user behavior and interaction models
Knowledge of industry standard graphics design software including Adobe Create Suite and MS Office is desired
