THE POSITION:
Sunnova Energy is seeking an execution oriented executive sought to drive capital markets issuances, oversee and execute on structuring and syndication of structured financings, and support/drive the company's capital market strategy working with senior management, rating agencies, lender and investor counter-parties, and investment banking institutions.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage the junior team members assigned to him or her – ensure that the team executes efficiently/effectively and
receives the coaching needed to develop their skills and understand all aspects of client deals/engagements/project
Will work in conjunction with other internal teams on collaborative projects: portfolio composition, investor reporting, due diligence, etc.
Interact regularly with Corporate Treasurer and broader Finance team to ensure that priorities are aligned with total company direction.
Serve as the lead internal point person for all securitization and credit facility related matters.
Monitor the Company’s capital structure for optimization.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
MBA or Master's in Finance required; CFA track strongly preferred
A minimum 7 years (manager) or Minimum 10 years (director) of relevant experience in an investment banking or debt capital markets/execution syndicate role at a major financial institution or issuer, with significant experience in structured finance transactions (i.e., esoteric securitization or similar products)
Fixed Income experience a must; investment banking program with extensive credit work and experience in global market syndication and credit structuring preferred
Experience working with rating agencies
Ability to negotiate and customize legal documentation in conjunction with counsel
Ability to manage transactions from inception through execution self directed
Syndicate management experience, including working with Operations, Sales, Trading, Compliance, Legal and Risk
Strong verbal communication skills with ability to interact well with executive management and other senior resources
Comfortable with ambiguity, with ability to work under pressure and within short time constraints in a complex system and business integrated environment; time management and priority management skills essential
Work effectively as a team player who is flexible in developing and adapting new processes
Prior FINRA SIE Certification, Series 7, 63, and 79 licenses expected
Skilled in identifying problem causes and effectively interpreting results of root cause analysis
Strong work ethic, with ability to research, identify and solve problems independently or with minimal assistance
Proficient in using business integrated systems, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
Bloomberg and advanced experience in Excel highly preferred. Minimum requirements include intermediate level in VBA or similar scripting language experience.
Strong analytic & quantitative skills, including an understanding of bond math and valuation
Highly detail oriented
Excellent verbal and written communication skills a must
