ICallidus is seeking an IT Security Specialist will be responsible for performing RMF (Risk Management Framework) compliance reviews and providing cybersecurity services. This role requires expertise in federal IT security standards and practices, as well as experience with cybersecurity assessment tools and methodologies.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough RMF compliance reviews for NOAA systems, ensuring adherence to federal cybersecurity standards such as NIST SP 800-53 and FISMA.
- Perform security assessments, identify vulnerabilities, and recommend remediation actions. Ensure that all systems meet the required security controls and documentation standards.
- Provide ongoing cybersecurity services, including monitoring, incident response, and threat analysis. Support the development and implementation of security policies and procedures.
- Prepare detailed reports on security findings, compliance status, and recommendations. Present reports to NOAA management and other stakeholders as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience in IT security, with a focus on RMF compliance and federal cybersecurity standards.
- CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) is required. Additional certifications such as CISM, CEH, or CAP are desirable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with cybersecurity tools such as CSAM, Nessus, and SIEM systems.
Clearance:
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance.
- US Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident is required.
