Performs duties providing routine to advanced functional expertise, and complex analysis to users of Oracle Enterprise Business Suite (EBS). Position is instrumental in the functional and financial analysis of the integration and maintenance of Oracle EBS and Kronos in order to identify and resolve application issues. Works across systems and applications to ensure optimal business processes, make recommendations and develop proposed solutions; ensure data integrity and provide end-to-end process documentation and training.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, or related field; and
Three (3) years of experience in business analysis using the specific business system applications or equivalent used by the organization; and
Five (5) years of experience in operating in a functional or technical related business section or department (Payroll/Human Resources/Fiscal/Information Technology); or
An equivalent combination of education (not less than a high school diploma/GED), training and experience that would reasonably be expected to provide the job related competencies.

Duties and Responsibilities
Note: The following duties are illustrative and not exhaustive. Functions independently and as a team player with all ESQA analysts; responsible for Kronos support and payroll validation of Historical Corrections. Responsible to work collaboratively with end users, Payroll Coordinators and Clerk's Payroll staff; develops and enhances business processes and system utilization.
Provides advanced functional expertise in Kronos and Oracle EBS and complex analysis for a broad range of application issues (requires fiscal knowledge). Responds by identifying issues, analyzing, researching and troubleshooting to identify cause. Develops/tests solutions in accordance with the change management process.
Creates, validates, and executes complex Kronos and Oracle EBS ad-hoc reports across all modules including Human Resources/Payroll Time Entry; analyzes trends and manipulates data using available software including Kronos Analytics, Oracle Business Intelligence, SQL Developer, and Microsoft Excel.
Runs projection and quality assurance reports to ensure funding availability and integrity of system data. For example, works with departments to identify potential future funding issues for position costing and makes timely position costing changes in Oracle EBS as required for all departments under the BOCC.
Performs end user and superuser training for Kronos and Oracle EBS (including procure-to-pay, etc.), which includes classroom, online training (i.e. GoToMeeting, WebEx, etc.), and/or ad-hoc training via the telephone using CrossTec. Prepares training materials, instructs, and uses OLM for tracking all training.
Job functions as a liaison with Department Payroll Coordinators including the assignment of bar codes to employees and management of bar codes in Kronos. May assist with time clock and mobile device implementation for timekeeping.
Runs weekly reports to review, analyze and make recommendations for issues recorded in ESQA's incident and problem ticket system.
Provides guidance and training on all Oracle Fiscal modules, which includes but is not limited to: troubleshooting, research and analysis of financial transactions.
Performs other duties as assigned.
