The Product Manager will manage the conceptualization, testing, and development of digital development projects for language and culture programs to be deployed on a global basis.
The Manager will manage all phases of the analysis and development of the digitial language products for which s/he is responsible, including but not limited to market and user research, product conceptualization and design; project planning; recruiting, hiring, and managing contractors; collaborating and influencing internal and external stakeholders; managing project roadmaps, schedules, and budgets; and guiding product testing and quality control.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:
staying familiar and up-to-date with the global, customer, competitor and industry research on online and asynchronous language learning in order to leverage it to create the most effective, innovative, and competitive programs
collecting information from, and analyzing trends of, customers in a regular basis, either virtually or face-to-face in Berlitz language centers
managing the testing of new and existing digital products with Berlitz customers globally
determining user stories and technical specifications for new digital products with various stakeholders and vendors
managing and developing product roadmaps
finding and assessing various technology development vendors
guiding technology deployment to language centers in conjunction with global IT and platforms
partnering with platforms and UX and user research teams to conceptualize, build, and test digital products
partnering with content development team to determine and refine instructional design
making project presentations, getting feedback and buy-in from key global stakeholders and customers throughout the life of the project
developing rollout plans and supporting documentation in coordination with regional colleagues
tracking budgets and schedules; keeping projects going on time and on budget with the highest level of quality

Direct interaction with all members of the GLP team
Collaborate directly with global IT and platform departments
Manage various freelancers
Interaction and management of various external partners and vendors
JOB QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
3-5 years experience educational software conceptualization and development, with language and/or educational software development experience strongly preferred product management, software development, and/or UX/UI experience strongly
Experience building asynchronous online learning experiences on learning management systems, with strong preference for language learning experiences
B.A. or higher
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
Ability to be pro-active with a sense of urgency, delivering results under pressure
High level of organizational and time-management skills
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
