Our PDI InfoServe team is in search of a Senior InfoServe Analyst that can provide bookkeeping and accounting services for the convenience store industry. Our customers rely on PDI’s systems to automate key business processes such as retail automation, decision support, fuel management, workforce support, and financial reporting. Using PDI software, the PDI InfoServe team helps its customers implement innovative technological solutions, increase efficiency, reduce labor costs, and maintain a competitive advantage. This is an ideal role for professionals with bookkeeping, accounting, data processing, and/or convenience store experience as our InfoServe Analysts assist customers with end-to-end support in everything from A/P and A/R to fuel processing, payroll, and period close.

Responsibilities include:
Provides financial software support and timely customer service
Maintains and records business transactions for assigned accounts, including A/P and A/R functions routine accounting activities
Perform general ledger activities such as journal entries for accruals or expense account reclassifications
Interface with store managers and personnel to ensure efficient store processing, providing timely and accurate data, preparing statements and basic financial reports
Generates and reviews customer financial statements, posts journal entries, and reconciles accounts (including period close process) including billing, bank statements, and credit card settlements
Review and analyze monthly operating results for accuracy and reasonableness, providing recommendations when opportunities for improvement are presented
Prepares and processes payroll and generates quarterly payroll tax reports
Reviews and analyzes general ledger transactions and reports, sometimes working in concert with CPAs and auditors
Follow up on accounting/system issues that affect accounts to ensure proper reporting of financial data
Develop and maintain accounting specifications for system enhancements
Develop and maintain financial reporting and tracking tools

Desired Skills & Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
3+ years of accounting experience; solid US GAAP knowledge. Software or Service industry preferred.
4+ years customer service experience
Superior communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Intermediate Excel skills required
2-3 years of convenience store experience is preferred, but not required
