Job Description
We are seeking a knowledgeable and client-focused Retirement Plan Advisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retirement planning and investment strategies, combined with excellent interpersonal skills. In this role, you will work closely with clients to design and implement retirement plans that align with their long-term financial objectives.
Responsibilities Include
Client Consultation: Meet/Teleconference Calls with clients to understand their retirement goals, financial situation, and risk tolerance. Provide personalized advice and recommendations based on their needs.
Plan Design and Implementation: Develop and present customized retirement plans, including 401(k), Cash Balance, and Pension Plans. Ensure plans are implemented effectively and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Market Analysis: Stay current with industry trends, market conditions, and changes in retirement plan regulations. Use this knowledge to offer informed advice and adjust client strategies as needed.
Client Education: Educate clients on retirement planning concepts, investment options, and the benefits of different retirement plans. Provide clear explanations and answer any questions they may have.
Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing ongoing support and guidance to help them stay on track with their retirement goals.
Compliance and Reporting: Ensure all retirement plans adhere to regulatory standards and company policies. Prepare and review reports related to plan performance and compliance.
Business Development: Identify opportunities for new business by leveraging existing client relationships and networking within the industry.

Qualifications
- Series 7 & 63 license required
- Series 65 or 66 licenses are highly preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
- 5+ years managing client relationships
- Proven experience as a Retirement Plan Advisor or similar role, with a strong understanding of retirement planning and investment strategies.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with Lincoln, Nationwide, and other platforms is a plus.
