Office of Admissions and Records
This position plans, coordinates, and implements database configurations and maintenance to maintain effective records retention and document imagining platform.
Responsible for planning and coordinating software and hardware maintenance required to maintain effective IP Operations. Oversees network configurations for IT related functions and CRM and document imaging system in academic departments. Implements technology based solutions to maximize efficiency of business processes for document imaging requirements of academic records and CRM.
Provides consultation services and technical advice to departmental and administrative clients in the use of the third-party CRM products and maintains documentation for training purposes on the CRM product. Responsible for maintaining and operating maintenance of web-based applications and data stores on multiple platforms and operating systems, providing software and system updates, and performing equipment troubleshooting, installation and modification.
Programming to adapt and configure third party systems in order to conform those platforms to the business purposes of the University. Creates and maintains stand-alone C# programs as needed and required.
Serves as a liaison between the Office of Admissions and Records and respective departments to troubleshoot technical issues in support of logistical document imaging requirements and CRM. Leverages administrator level access to compose queries, design system and custom types, and maintain fax server virtual rescan platform.
Bachelor's degree and four years of experience or a combination of post high school education and experience equal to eight years.
Experience and comfort working with a variety of computer software applications, databases, and student information systems (PeopleSoft).
Experience testing and troubleshooting computer applications.
The ability to manage and maintain computer applications.
The ability to identify technology-based needs and solutions.
A bachelor's degree and four years of experience in Information Technology, Student Services, or related field. Ability to multi-task within a fast-paced work environment. Experience implementing and/or supporting a new initiative (policy, technology, procedure, etc.). Experience with admissions operations and application processing. Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills desired.
Anticipated Salary Range
This is an A&P (Administrative and Professional) position.
If not otherwise specified, schedule is M-F, 8-5.
