Business Intelligence Analyst

Collaborates with business partners to find alternatives and solutions to business challenges. Engages the business client early and effectively while building solid relationships and pushing IT value upstream. This individual will collect and analyze data and input data from multiple internal and external sources to be able to organize into actionable solutions. Provides added value to Spirit by formulating decision analytics through BI Solutions. Provide analysis, interpretation, and resolution of problems and projects in Solution Delivery Platform.

Interfaces with business users from different functional domains (Marketing, Finance, Revenue Management, Operations) to review business processes, develop data, and reporting requirements.
Research and gather data to provide analytical insightful conclusions and solutions to address user needs.
Participate with functional teams through the development of projects to include: scoping, information requirements (report/dashboards), testing (UAT) and signoff.
Create written communication materials that effectively summarize findings and support recommendations.
Participate in informational management activities, including data quality standards and master data management.
Build strong business relationships within all business units and with 3rd party vendors to enhance results-oriented client service focus.

Required Skills/Experience:
Bachelor's degree in the Engineering field (Industrial, Information Systems, Mechanical, Aeronautical) or other related technical field.
2 + years of analytical/data analysis experience, problem solving skills, documentation, and solution development.
1 + years of project management experience, managing projects in an enterprise-scale environment.
1+ years of experience with SQL or other related databases with knowledge of SQL query to conduct data analysis.
Strong computer skills with proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc).
Excellent verbal, written, and customer service skills.
Ability to work in a team environment, as well as independently.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in Revenue Management, Marketing, Financial, HR or Operations Systems Management.
Familiarity with data warehousing principles, relationship databases and OLAP concepts.
Experience developing statistical solutions (Python/ R).
Experience with development of reports utilizing standard Business Intelligence tools (SAP-Business Objects, Power BI, Lumira, Tableau).
Business Intelligence work experience using SAP business objects application.
