As a Raytheon IDS Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating and documenting purchases for materials, services and supplies. You will work in a highly collaborative role with functional areas including Engineering, Logistics and Program Office.

Responsibilities Include:
Performing price/cost analyses, conduct negotiations, and identify supplier risks
Interfacing with Integrated Product Teams and subcontractor to understand technical challenges and provide solution options
Ensuring that requirements (prime contract, quality, terms and conditions) are properly communicated to suppliers
Managing supplier performance to cost, schedule and quality requirements
Using metrics and reports to manage flow of material from origin through delivery
Creating customer approval documents per prime contract
Using techniques and Raytheon/external tools to identify sources for obsolete material
Executing to customer requirements including government regulations, public law and Raytheon policies and procedures.

Required Skills:
2+ years’ experience in Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Operations, Project Management, Engineering or Finance
Must attain Procurement Certification Level 4 within a year

Desired Skills:
Experience with MRP/ERP system e.g. SAP, APEX, PRISM
Knowledge of PRISM/APEX.
Supply chain experience
Experience communicating with Customers and Suppliers
Strong organizational skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
High level of customer service experience.
Proven ability to drive and meet metrics and goals. Prioritizes effectively.
Computer experience (emphasis in Microsoft Office Suite).

Required Education:
Bachelor’s Degree
