The mission of the Biologics Drug Discovery Department is to design, optimize, and develop important protein therapeutics to improve patients’ lives, and to generate proteins as tools to explore novel biology.
We are currently seeking an associate level protein biochemist with experience in protein purification using standard chromatography and computer interfaced systems, and in standard characterization techniques including, but not limited to, SDS-PAGE, Western blotting, ELISA, analytical size exclusion chromatography, and light scattering.
Candidate should possess strong interpersonal and organizational skills and the ability to work/collaborate in a multi-disciplined team based setting where meeting team goals defines success. Excellent oral and written communication skills are required, along with the ability to summarize findings in presentations and reports for internal and external audiences. The successful candidate will have established themselves as an independent research associate having contributed to scientific publications. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in biochemical and cell-based assay development, protein-protein interaction analysis, and a background or interest in cellular biology or immunology.
BS or MS with at least 3 years relevant laboratory experience.
