The Education Partnerships team works together to broaden and deepen our partnership base across the U.S. so that more children can access our proven approach to learning and teaching math. Our team works to increase the number of states, school districts, schools and students implementing ST Math.
We are looking for an Education Partnerships Associate who will collaborate with the EPM and RVP on contact between the school district in their assigned territory, providing practical solutions utilizing the MIND Research Institute curriculum programs.
Major responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
Collaborating with the local Education Partnerships Manager (EPM) in expanding the presence of ST Math.
Providing general support, drafting communications, creating presentation resources, and functioning as an on-call program support for all regional EPMs.
Building relationships and cultivating new opportunities in territories throughout the region.
Qualifying leads from a variety of sources for either handoff to EPMs or direct follow up to close as directed by EPMs and RVP.
Proactively promoting MIND Research Institute curriculum and professional development to district and school partners.
Presenting and demonstrating the programs to potential customers and ensuring that they understand the requirements and benefits.
Writing, presenting, and documenting proposals to district personnel for purchase of the programs.
Developing relationships with customer schools, qualifying them for add-on potential, and promoting add-on grades, add-on products and upgrades to those schools using web-tools to present and demonstrate the products to potential customers and ensuring that they understand the requirements and benefits.
Preparing and mailing price quotes.
Tracking renewal and add-on opportunities in CRM.
Following up on renewal and add-on opportunities.
Ensuring that programs in use during the school year are renewed for the next school year and expanded to the additional grade levels.
Knowing sources of state and federal funding for school purchases, assisting schools in applying for or redirecting this funding.
Exhibiting and promoting MIND Research programs at educational conferences in the region.
Preparing weekly and/or monthly reports for review by MIND management on the prospect pipeline and status of each prospect for which they are responsible.
Supporting the achievement of quarterly and annual revenue goals.
Using Company resources wisely and staying within established expense budgets.
BS or BA in Education or related field is desired
Willingness to work in collaborative team selling environment
Proficient in the use of technology for personal productivity
Excellent oral and written skills
Demonstrated ability to maintain meaningful business relationships with school districts
Knowledge of competitive education software products is preferred
Detailed knowledge of K-8 math state standards, testing and accountability requirements in the assigned territory is preferred
1- 3 years of experience selling at the school district level in the assigned territory
