We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Deli Associate to join our team. Duties
- Prepare and serve deli items, including meats, cheeses, and sandwiches, while adhering to food safety guidelines.
- Operate cash registers and POS systems accurately for customer transactions.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the deli area, including equipment and surfaces.
- Assist in upselling products to enhance the customer experience and increase sales.
- Buss tables and ensure the dining area is tidy for customers.
- Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during peak hours.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations within the deli department.
- Follow all culinary standards and procedures to maintain quality.
Experience
- Previous experience in a quick service fast food restaurant or similar environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with cash register operations and POS systems is beneficial.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is essential for maintaining a safe work environment.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy setting.
