The role…

Manage partnerships on a day to day basis for a variety of vendor categories. Main focus will be partners in the travel-related space including, but not limited to, resorts, air, rail and car rental. Another large focus will be managing Points.com and the CP Redemption mall. Responsibilities include relationship management, project management, customer service, financial tracking and modeling for all partners. Responsible for providing excellent customer service for guests, partners and internal Choice departments that work and support the partners. Execute contractual requirements and work with partners to develop incremental growth.
Reports to Director, Choice Privileges Partnerships. No direct reports.
What you will do…

Manage the business relationship and partnerships strategy for travel partners. Work with internal teams including Choice Privileges strategy, CP operations and finance to launch new partnerships and promotions that will increase revenue for Choice Hotels, CP wallet share and strengthen partner relationships.
Monitor, track and report financial performance of assigned partners. Responsible for quarterly/monthly tracking against plan. Identify irregularities and/or trends (report out monthly/ quarterly). Analyze plan/program effectiveness and provide recommendations for improvements of driving value.
Re-negotiate and close partnership deals for the Choice Privileges program. Work with legal and compliance teams to ensure contract terms are consistent and represent financial terms discussed during contract negotiations. Ensure stakeholder approval.
Work with CP Operations team to track progress of development for any enhancements that require IT development.
Participate in department and corporate projects as assigned.
Skills you have…

BA or BS degree required. Experience in the travel or hospitality industry preferred.
At least 5 years experience in: Project management, account management, marketing or relationship marketing.
Experience in financial modeling, due diligence, valuations, business case development highly desired.
Exceptional organizational, statistical, analytical, problem solving, quantitative and analytical skills to include reasoning skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively and facilitate the objects of the department under general direction while maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Travel may be required (25%)
