Job Description

We are looking to add a bookkeeper to our finance team in Alpine UT. As a member of the team you will gain valuable experience in high-demand accounting/finance functions. You will work directly with the Director of Finance and the rest of the accounting team, who will train and develop you as you learn the ropes at the company. The position is full time (40 hours a week, during normal business hours). As a part of the team you will be asked to own any of the following tasks:

  • Complete key portions of the Company’s month-end close process, such as revenue recognition and prepaid assets
  • Perform various account reconciliations
  • Initiate wire payments
  • Review/process vendor bills and customer invoices through Bill.com and customers’ billing portals
  • Follow up with customers to receive payment; participate in AR collections to improve cash flow
  • Reconcile bank accounts in Quickbooks
  • Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately
  • Manage the Company’s expense management platform (Expensify)
  • Respond in a timely manner to vendor, customer and employee inquiries
  • Perform ad hoc analyses using Excel and other tools
  • Take on other projects/roles as needed

Experience/education

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher, ideally in accounting/finance or related discipline
  • 1-3 years of relevant accounting experience (experience through college accounting classes may be considered)
  • Experience with invoicing and collections is a plus
  • Experience with Quickbooks, Bill.com and/or Expensify is a plus
