Job Description
· 7+ yrs. of overall management and strategy of Facilities, Utilities, TPM and Sustainability, including the development and implementation of the area strategy, aligned with the company Site strategy. Hands-on leader that is current with new Technology and creates Culture, Governance and Drive.
· Ensure that the site infrastructure including equipment and areas under its control are maintained operational and in compliance for License to Operate. This includes the facilities & utilities (Cogeneration & PPA Solar) maintenance, facilities management improvement projects, Stockroom for MROs items and the delivery and execution of sustainability pillars which are “Access to Health Care, Ethics and Transparency and Environmental” to meet environmental key indicators.
· Areas of responsibility includes: Manufacturing Operations, IT, Laboratory and Warehouses.
· In charge of Internal and External Audits.
· Lead resources and contractors that provide maintenance and repair services to the site.
· Keep compliance with all GMPs, and SHE requirements and programs, government permits and business controls.
· Be a role model on Lean initiatives including the deliverables as per Lean Maturity targets.
· Forecast and implement as per the financial controls vs. budget.
· Implement continuous improvement programs to deliver robustness and build resilience.
· Responsible for the site Maintenance Excellence program in alignment with global policies/requirements such as TPM.
Typical Accountabilities
- Among some of the programs, the candidate is accountable for the FM Systems such as: Routine Maintenance Program (PM/CM), Calibration Program, FM area documentation, MRO (spare parts' inventory) and others.
- Accountable for the execution and delivery of the sustainability strategy on environmental metrics (Energy, CO2, Waste, Water and Recycling) as per targets. The areas of health care and ethics and transparency, includes the governance and strategy to facilitate the process as Sponsor.
- Responsible for the development of Scope of Works for services or small projects, including the selection of Service Providers and for the stakeholder management of such services.
- Leads the utilities/maintenance process to simplify and improve on areas such as OEE and TPM the resource’s capability uplift along while developing the facilities organization to fit the future.
- Ensure all utilities infrastructure and systems are operational for plant processes to maintain an uninterrupted supply chain process available 7 x 24 x 365, except for unplanned events or planned PM activities, especially for: energy, water/PuW, and Compress air and HVAC system (Chiller/CT/Boilers/Pump/AHU’s).
- Maintain business relations with suppliers to negotiate contracts (e.g. LUMA, PRASA, fuel “LNG/RLNG/Diesel”, PPA’s-Energy as applicable, waste disposal suppliers, recycling, calibration and key MRO vendors).
- Leads the ALCM (Asset Life Cycle Management) initiative/program.
- Creates and/or review documents/procedures including Standard Operating Procedures and company policies.
- Accountable for the development and justification of structural and physical plant projects including the systems that support it, such as Calibration, PM, HVAC (BMS), and others. In addition, the development of project justification and business-cases of engineering proposals. Provides information for capital planning process and projects client role execution as a SME.
- Identify technical training requirements for Operations and Maintenance of new and existing processes/equipment along with building knowledge and expertise for the area personnel.
- Key contact for regulatory inspections as process owner, ensure compliance with all required local and federal regulations (Environment, OSHA, FDA or any other GMP regulatory agency, etc.).
- Accountable for equipment qualifications and process validation required as a result of changes to validated processes within the FMUO (facilities/utilities maintenance organization).
- Ensure that area key performance indicators are monitored and available at all times including a robust program for continuous improvement base on data analysis trend.
- Prepare capital and revenue budget for Facilities and Sustainability while implementing a monitoring system to keep aligned with it.
- Leverage Lean as License to Operate and build simplification to deliver efficiencies while reducing operational cost, automate data collections system for having data at finger points.
- May serve as an acting delegate to the Head of Engineering when required.

· Establish controls for monitoring sustainability metrics and address gap against targets established for process improvement.
· Ensure that all employees under responsibility fulfill their SHE responsibilities on areas such as BeSHE, safety and environmental sustainability.
Lean Responsibilities:
· Ensure the Lean mindset, as our main driver for License to Operate. Adopt leadership methods to make space for Gemba that confirms standardized ways of working and promote continuous improvement.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $135,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
