Summary: Join the growing Onix family as a Cloud Technical Account Manager as we help our customers during their cloud adoption journey by providing full lifecycle support while achieving desired business outcomes. This position is a customer-facing role that requires deep working cloud knowledge and experience in architecting solutions, data engineering, implementation design and support. This TAM must understand Google Cloud Platform services and offerings and through regular customer meetings and quarterly reviews identify measurable success metrics and formulate a clear and concise cloud strategy roadmap.
Scope/Level of Decision Making: This is a non-exempt position operating under limited decision-making and supervision. Position performs a variety of assigned activities, referring more complex issues to a manager.
Accelerate a customer’s cloud adoption journey by providing scalable and repeatable technical solutions and guidance while managing success criteria, business transformation strategies, milestones, goals and roadmaps
Consult and advise customers on cloud based methodologies, processes and procedures as they relate to data engineering, infrastructure, security and application lifecycles
Triaging between the customer and Google GCP support while managing technical support escalations
Lead regular meetings with key executive stakeholders and technology department personal to achieve desired business outcomes, set milestones and resolve technical issues in a timely and concise manner
Introduce and and advise on proof of concept projects to help accelerate cloud adoption
Embrace a culture of continuous education to provide the most relevant and current cloud technology solutions and services
Preferred Skills and Experience:
3 years of experience in a customer-facing role communicating with executive stakeholders and leading technical and transformation projects
Deep working knowledge of Cloud-based services, offerings and solutions including Google Cloud Platform, AWS and Azure
Thorough understanding of DevOps principles and practices in relation to release pipelines and builds
Work with Configuration Management Technologies such as Terraform, Anisible, Puppet, Chef, Pulumi, etc
Experience with CI/CD management tools (Jenkins, Git, TFS etc.)
Experience with GCP, cloud, security, systems, on-premise infrastructure, best practices, IT operations, content delivery networks, appdev and database systems
Expert knowledge of networking services, systems and protocols including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Windows Active Directory, Backup & DR and the administration of the most popular Linux distributions
Deep understanding of technical architecture diagrams and other low and high level design documents
Working knowledge of VMWare, Hyper-V and other virtualized platforms
Working knowledge of Kubernetes, Anthos, Docker, containerization and serverless technologies
Ability to work with scripting languages including Python, BASH, Powershell etc.;
Experience with 3rd party cloud tooling such as Datadog, New Relic, AppDynamics, CloudHealth, Logic Monitor, etc.
Skilled at collaborating and working with diverse business units at enterprise and corporate accounts
Working knowledge of DataOps monitoring, managing and maintenance
Experience with performance monitoring and management of database engines (MSSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB, MongoDB, ElasticSearch, Postgres)
Familiar with regulatory and governance frameworks such as HIPAA, PCI, etc.
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, related technical field or equivalent experience
Certifications - Would prefer any of the following
Google Certified Professional - Cloud Architect
Google Certified Professional - DevOps Engineer
Google Certified Professional - Data Engineer
Google Certified Professional - Security Engineer
Google Certified Professional - Network Engineer
Certified Solutions Architect - Professional
AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional
AWS Certified Advanced Networking - Specialty
AWS Certified Security - Specialty
AWS Certified Database - Specialty
AWS Certified Data Analytics - Specialty
