Your New Company:
Hernandez Consulting & Construction is a construction project management firm and general contractor specializing in Design, Construction, Development & Sustainability.
Your New Role:
Hernandez Consulting & Construction has an immediate opening for an Executive Personal Assistant to the Chief Executive Officer. This will be a part-time position encompassing roughly 20 hours a week. The ideal candidate will understand the commercial construction business model as well as real estate development and take the initiative to help streamline efficiency.
Must be willing and able to work in Miami, Florida.
What You'll Need to Succeed:
Minimum of three years (3) years of experience as an Executive Personal Assistant
Knowledge of building construction, materials, means, and methods involved in the creation or repair of commercial projects, buildings, or other structures preferred
Legal or Paralegal experience a plus
Highly adaptable to a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Energetic, flexible, and motivated
Able to work independently
Capable of exercising sound judgment, tact, and discretion in all interpersonal contacts
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills
Comprehend project processes and standard progression for construction projects (i.e., document control)
Positive projection and maintenance of a professional image
Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook
Bilingual in Spanish a plus
What you'll be doing in your new role:
Conserve the CEO's time by reading, researching, and routing correspondence; drafting letters and documents; collecting and analyzing information; initiating telecommunications.
Maintain the CEO's appointment schedule by planning and scheduling meetings, conferences, teleconferences, and travel. You will attend meetings and take notes for follow-ups and future reference.
Prepare and edit email
Maintain an organized workspace
Organize and maintain files and records
Access to vehicle transportation to run occasional errands
Prepare and polish correspondence, reports, and presentations
Secure information by completing database backups
Provide historical reference through the development and utilization of filing and retrieval systems
Record meeting discussions
Review professional publications
Maintain CEO's contact database
Book and coordinate CEO travel
Bachelor's Degree a plus, but may be substituted for years of experience as an Executive Personal Assistant
