Reporting to the Market Director of Finance, the Controller supervises and coordinates the management of the accounting functions including financial analysis and cost reporting. Manages the daily operations of accounting functions including General Accounting, Financial and Statistical Reporting, Payroll and Accounts Payable. Oversees the preparation of bank account reconciliations, month-end close, cash management and reporting, and fixed asset management and reporting. Prepares forecasts, projections, and budgets.
Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration with concentration in accounting or financial management related discipline is required.
Three (3) years of healthcare accounting experience is strongly preferred. Department or project leadership experience and/or supervisory experience is preferred. Working experience with hospital accounting policies and procedures, financial reporting and the accounting as it relates to the overall operations of the hospital is strongly preferred.
