Title: Central District Manager
Company: Franklin Retail Solutions is in the Sports Business. We work with
the best brands in the Sports, Outdoor, Fitness, and Health industries. We
develop retail marketing, merchandising and training programs, manage a network
of over 500 field professionals who execute the programs, and analyze the
results for the brands we represent.
Purpose: The District Manager (DM) serves as the primary contact between
management and the field force consisting of independent merchandising
contractors, the Sell-Through Specialists (STS). The DM provides coaching to
the STSs and ensures that projects are assigned correctly, properly scheduled
and accurately completed within the defined periods. The position acts as
direct support for the field team through consistent and effective
communication, facilitation and execution of monthly projects, and coordination
of quality assurance initiatives. The qualified candidate must be a motivated,
enthusiastic and self-directed manager who is able to work effectively in both a
team environment and independently. This position is full-time and the
candidate must live within the district for which they are applying.
Management experience preferably within the merchandising and/or retail
Retail and/or merchandising experience.
Advanced skills using Google Drive and Microsoft Office including Word,
Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Ability to navigate web-based systems.
Exceptional oral and written communication skills and effective time
Proven ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple concurrent

Supervision of STS within district and the projects that fall within that
Primary contact for the STS within district.
Ensures minimum of 97% completion of monthly reports assigned to their
Reviews monthly district projections to develop a strategy for coverage of
all territories within the district utilizing the field team of STS.
Finalizes on-boarding and training of new STS.
Reviews 100% of all new STS reports for at least three months, resolves
issues with reports during the auditing process, and seeks to maintain quality
of information within all reports for the district.
Monitors contractor payroll each pay period to ensure contractors are paid
Monitors and analyzes work volume within territories and makes
recommendations for boundary changes and/or recruitment needs to the Senior
Ensures quality issues are resolved by scheduling in-store audits and/or
conducting follow-up orientations, as well as recommending recruiting strategies
Ensures that the field team has current and applicable materials and/or
supplies from clients.
Provides leadership and direction to the field team through the
dissemination of information for new and/or existing projects.
Works with Client Service Account Managers providing assistance and
reviewing client reports prior to publishing them for field completion.
Attends daily, weekly and/or monthly conference calls with management and
field teams as appropriate.
Develops, recommends and executes effective and feasible solutions to
challenges and obstacles raised by the field team and/or the management team.
Responds to and follows through with details to assure quick resolution of
inquiries from field team, management team and/or clients.
Consistently communicates with management to provide updates on field
accomplishments, progress, and/or concerns of the field team.
Maintains extensive contact with the management team, the field team, and
clients, using telephone and internet communication in a professional manner.
