CDR Fundraising Group Digital Account Executive

CDR Fundraising Group, an award-winning, full-service direct response fundraising agency, with offices in Bowie, MD, Arlington, VA, and Burbank, CA, is seeking a Digital Account Executive to join our team. The Digital Account Executive is responsible for assisting in the development of our non-profit client’s strategy and the creation and implementation of campaigns to acquire, cultivate and solicit and retain donors across one or multiple non-profit clients.

Experience in digital communications, fundraising and/or marketing.
Knowledge of and experience with online marketing for nonprofits, including any or all the following disciplines: email campaigns, advocacy, social media, peer-to-peer fundraising, and digital acquisition channels.
Ability to work in a team environment to meet client fundraising goals.
Ability to adapt to shifting client priorities.
Ability to monitor and project performance.
Ability to handle multiple complex projects in a deadline-driven environment; a resourceful self-starter who can take initiative and follow through on projects.

Works with team to develop and implement strategies to maintain and/or expand fundraising programs for assigned clients through digital marketing, including email campaigns and online acquisition efforts.
Interfaces with clients to understand the client’s overall objectives and requirements. Identifies short- and long-term goals and helps to prepare a plan to meet them.
Prepares and conducts presentations for clients as needed.
Leads client meetings as needed.
Creates and provides reports on the budget and donor activity for each assigned client.
Contacts clients on a regular basis to maintain the account relationship.
Shares ideas and client needs throughout all phases of client life cycle (plan, design, integrate, implement, manage, report).
Assists in developing short-term strategic plans designed to ensure client satisfaction by identifying customer issues and offering creative and timely solutions to those issues.
Assist in developing long-term strategic plans designed to ensure account retention, continued account success and realistic program expansion.
Assists with the development and implementation of new and innovative approaches to provide, expand or improve current practices.
Works with writers, designers and advertising strategists to generate top-notch, engaging digital campaigns to support client goals.
Ensures overall quality control of all digital assets; ensuring timeliness and accuracy of deliverables including multi-channel testing plans and campaign reports.
Ensures deadlines and budgets are met.
Assists directors and other senior staff with other projects as assigned.

Education and Experience:
One to two years of online marketing and fundraising experience.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; degree in Marketing or Communications preferred, but not required.
Experience with online platforms; Blackbaud Luminate Online a plus.
