Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable Courier Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting packages and goods in a safe and timely manner.
Responsibilities
- Drive vehicles such as vans or box trucks to deliver packages to designated locations
- Load and unload items from the vehicle
- Perform heavy lifting and moving of packages when necessary
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries
- Follow delivery schedules and routes efficiently
- Maintain the vehicle in good working condition
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers
Experience
- Prior experience as a courier, delivery driver, or in a similar role is preferred
- Commercial driving experience is a plus
- Ability to handle physical demands including heavy lifting and moving packages
- Familiarity with warehouse operations is beneficial
