Reporting to the Manager of Professional Development, the primary responsibilities include:

· Assist Manager in coordinating CLE programs for NY and other domestic offices, which includes: communicating with attorney presenters & outside consultants and coordinating conference rooms, catering, videoconferencing and other technical needs
· Assist Manager in advising attorneys about their CLE compliance, research off-site CLE opportunities as requested by attorneys, assist with attorney applications for time extensions
· Maintain CLE database, records and reports to ensure the firm and its attorneys comply with CLE rules and regulations
· Manage relationships with outside CLE vendors, coordinate webcasts & outside program enrollment, promote programs, track external program activity
· Maintain CLE calendar and post CLE programs internally
· Research off-site CLE opportunities as requested by attorneys
· Other responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time

Qualifications:

· A 4-year college degree strongly preferred

· 1 - 2 years’ related experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience. Prior law firm experience encouraged

· Strong computer skills (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) required. Knowledge of MICRON online CLE tracking system preferred

· NY CLE experience preferred

· Excellent organizational, administrative and interpersonal skills

· Must be detail-oriented

· Self-starter & ability to work under limited supervision

· Positive, flexible attitude; team player

· Must have strong oral and written communication skills in order to effectively interact with attorneys

· Must be flexible and available for overtime as needed
