ECS is seeking a Scientist (Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Pharmacology, or Biochemistry) to work in our Arlington, VA office.
Please Note: This position is contingent upon contract award.
The candidate will provide scientific, engineering, and technical assistance (SETA) support to the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency. The candidate is requested to support the management, technical oversight, and assist in the transition of existing programs, seedlings and SBIRs in the Biological Technologies Office (BTO).
Candidate must have a security clearance sufficient to allow unsupervised entrance and work within the DARPA facility. Occasional travel of up to week’s duration away from DARPA HQ, Arlington, VA, may be required.
Active Secret Clearance
Ph.D. in Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Pharmacology or Biochemistry, with the breadth of expertise to assess technologies across a broad range of applications.
Candidate should hold a Ph.D. in Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Pharmacology or Biochemistry, with the breadth of expertise to assess technologies across a broad range of applications.
Research experience and a background navigating the regulatory pathways for novel drugs and/or medical devices.
Excellent organization, communication, and coordination are required
Candidate must readily handle tasks ranging from briefing support to general administration.
Candidate must have a security clearance sufficient to allow unsupervised entrance and work within the DARPA facility.
Previous experience in providing direct support to a DARPA Program Manager.
