Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
7 years of relevant work experience in internal/external communications, marketing, policy, consulting, or PR
Must have work authorization in the United States.
Ability to capture the authentic voice of leadership and communicate complex technical concepts in a clear and strategic way.
Demonstrated ability to work calmly and maintain good judgment in fast-paced environments.
Ability to think, plan and execute on multiple projects simultaneously in a highly organized, collaborative fashion.
Ability to help shape the internal communications narrative and effectively communicate via presentations, scripts, video, or emails without significant editing. Excellent skills as a writer.
Proven communicator with excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to work with colleagues across many functions, and in different countries/understand cultural differences.

As the Internal Communications manager for Corp Eng, you’ll be setting the Internal Communications direction. You’ll be responsible for shaping and communicating the team’s strategy to employees and helping define its culture, collaborating on internal initiatives, events, and programs. You will distill complex topics into compelling messages, design crisp presentations, written content, and advise the Leadership team on effective communications strategies.

Help the company to understand, support the work of Corp Eng, with a unified mission of supporting our users, Googles, and our partners.
Build consensus among cross-functional teams and influence decision making with senior leaders and senior-level audiences; lead execution against recommendations quickly and with accuracy.
Be comfortable writing, editing, and collaborating on various communications approaches and avenues including emails presentations, blog posts, fireside chats, interviews, video, and more.
Coordinate and partner with Corp Eng team on external comms to ensure consistent messaging. Measure and analyze communications efforts for their effectiveness against stated goals.
