New ownership of existing agency 30+ years

Full time hours (40 hour week) from 8:30 am - 5:30 pm Monday through Friday

A minimum guarantee a month for averaging 40 hour work
week, minimum doesn't go down/away if a sales quota isn't hit/after x amount of months

Salary Range: $30000.00 - $40000.00 per year

Responsibilities

Customer Service:
  • Answer, forward, unforward phones
  • Make changes to policies
  • Research discrepancies
  • Work with and within underwriting guidelines
  • Manage 1000+ customer accounts
  • Take payments
  • Use basic math skills to explain premium changes
  • Schedule reviews and appointments
  • Follow up on a set of mandated services on policies
  • Do deposits and corresponding reports
  • Call/Email/Mail customers on servicing issues
  • Enter comments, to-do items, etc through customer management system
  • Have a basic understanding of Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Managing various reports
  • Basic office duties
  • Other duties as assigned
Sales

  • Answer phones
  • Create and amend quotes on various lines of insurance
  • Follow up on quotes to close
  • Use incoming calls, referrals, internet leads, lists, etc to generate sales
  • Use a sales/lead management system to follow up
  • Work closely with underwriting
  • Follow up with all documents needed to keep policy in good standing
  • Enter comments, to-do items, etc through customer management system
  • Manage reports/excel spreadsheets
  • Have a basic understanding of Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Use basic math skills to calculate premium, changes, discounts, etc.
  • Basic office duties
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Need to take/pass classes for licenses (we've used
http://www.examfx.com), schedule/take/pass State tests for
licenses through PearsonVue, pass a credit/background check to get licenses through the State of Colorado/DORA/Division of Insurance and through Allstate

Property, Casualty, Life, Health and Accident licenses are required.
Long term care license may be obtained while working in the office.

Need to spend 3 weeks at our Regional office for binding authority at C-470 and I-25 (8am - 5 pm M-F). This is a one time training but we do periodically need to go to the Regional office for day long trainings.
