You will be responsible for the delivery of both outsourced and project-based HR services to clients, primarily through hands-on administration and coordination of the client's HR function. This includes communicating HR policies, handling employee relations issues, and ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations. Other responsibilities may include:
Participating as a lead team player on client project engagements such as HR audits, compliance reviews and employee handbook development;
Acting as point person for payroll and HRIS transactions;
Administering total rewards and performance management programs;
Recruiting for all levels of positions, and coordinating orientation and on-boarding processes;
Providing guidance and support on varied Employee Relations and Performance Management issues;
Providing administrative support for the HR function, including regulatory reporting and filing.
You will engage clients in the Philadelphia/Delaware Valley Region both on-site at their locations as well as remotely. At times you will collaborate on projects with PROXUS colleagues here at our Fort Washington, PA offices, via Skype for Business and related technology or at a conveniently located coffee shop. While outsourced engagements will necessitate you maintaining a regular on-site presence, at the end of the day we believe in getting work done in a flexible, efficient and practical manner.
We are looking for someone who has the initiative, flexibility and personality to quickly assimilate across a diverse group of clients in a changing, dynamic environment. Ability to engage quickly and build trust with new people is critical, as is being friendly and genuinely interested in the business, agenda, and needs of others, including the company, its management, the team, the company's customers. Other key qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree, related professional certification, 4+ years of progressive, tactical HR generalist experience and the ability to work independently and with an extreme sense of urgency.
Candidates with experience acting as a true Business Partner, "HR department of one" or as a hands-on HR consultant have a background that fits well with our PROXUS roles.
Detail work is a major focus of the job, and those details need to be handled quickly, correctly, and efficiently. This portion of the work will often focus on relationships with others; correct handling of details dealing with others is necessary to maintain and grow client relationships.
