Job Summary:
- Provides leadership oversight of Employee Onboarding Team in the Employee Solution & Service Excellence Center of Excellence. The role is to oversee day-to-day administration, as well as the efficiency and efficacy of the new hire onboarding process as well as the overall new hire and transfer employee experience. The Director is to establish and foster positive relationships with k the Talent Acquisition Team and other members of the HR Center s of Excellence, hiring managers, and newly hired and transferring employees with a focus on building strong partnerships and facilitating optimal service performance and user experience. Acts as a champion for progressive technological solutions and process improvement across assigned service area. Fosters an environment that develops the Onboarding Team, and promotes outstanding customer service, engagement, performance, teamwork, and accountability.
Responsibilities

Develops and leads an effective and efficient onboarding operation, while ensuring the consistency of a positive employee experience, and continuity of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational risk, regulatory compliance, KPIs and service line agreements.

Supervises onboarding staff, manages staff performance, monitors quality and promotes staff development. Identifies and prioritizes team building efforts to maximize motivation, collaboration and respect among team members. Sets and maintains high accountability standards for onboarding team members.
- Partners with talent acquisition, data management and performance improvement teams to establish processes ensuring pre-employment and onboarding activities are executed and secured in compliance with regulatory and company standards.

Provides support for escalated inquiries or concerns on matters related to onboarding and the employee experience.

Drives continuous process improvement opportunities to improve operational effectiveness, and proposes recommendations to the Vice President of the Employee Solution & Service Excellence, as applicable. Develops and implements new processes as needed to further operational efficiency.

Works closely with the HR Leadership Team to ensure alignment across various people operations processes and initiatives.

Formulates strategy and creates tactical efficiencies by leveraging analytics and technology-based solutions.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree or commensurate business experience required.

5+ years of relevant human resources operations, service center, onboarding or related work experience required

Established experience leading cross-functional teams
- Previous experience in recruitment and onboarding with demonstrated knowledge of applicant tracking systems, onboarding workflows and credentialing standards. Healthcare industry preferred, but not required.

Demonstrated technological acuity and ability to manage competing priorities and projects in a fast paced environment.
