Works on the interior and exterior of large wine storage tanks.
$30.68 an hour including a comprehensive benefit’s package which includes Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401(k).
Performs scaffold construction and maintenance.
Prepares structures for paint/foam applications.
Mixes and sets up of specialized epoxy coatings.
Sprays paint and sandblasts.
Participates in preparing and painting miscellaneous equipment and structures throughout the winery.
Uses power and hand tools.
Follows company safety procedures, quality and GMP standards.
Commits to continuous improvement, accountability.
Performs all essential functions at an acceptable level of performance as determined by management.
Maintains satisfactory attendance, to include timeliness.
Responsible for understanding and complying with applicable quality, environmental and safety regulatory consideration.

High School Diploma or GED.
21 years of age or older.
2 years of painting/coating experience in an industrial setting performing work described in essential functions.
Required to work any shift.
Required to work aloft and on platforms.
Required to lift and move up to 100 lbs.
Required to pass respirator qualification process.
Experience with multiple component coating and sandblast.
Drive/Operate industrial equipment (forklifts, tractor, wave, etc)
Will be required to be blood borne pathogen trained.
Skilled in reading, analyzing and interpreting work instructions, chemical guidelines, MSDS sheets.
Skilled in defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions.
Skilled in effectively presenting information and responding to questions from team and other departmental managers and representatives.
Demonstrates team building, leadership and mentoring skills.
Trained in tank entry permits (confined space training).
Knowledge of general paint preparation.
Self motivated, shows initiative, and demonstrates the skill in multi tasking.
Works well under pressure, manages priorities efficiently.
Good communication, presentation and writing skills.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be required to:
Work aloft and on platforms.
Standing and walking up to 90 percent of the workday.
Pushing, pulling, reaching to the full extension of the arms, bending, stooping, kneeling, climbing, handling and grasping, twisting/turning, torso rotation, lifting/carrying.
Lift maximum of 100 lb.
The duties of a painter involve erecting and dismantling scaffolding, placing insulation on the domes portion of the holding tanks, grinding slag marks, sandblasting the inside of the tank, removing the used sand, papering the welded seams and spray-painting the inside of the tanks.

Noise level is loud therefore requiring hearing protection at all times.

Work in wet conditions.
Temperatures range from 30 to 100 degrees Fahrenheit.
