High Focus Centers, formerly Onward Behavioral Health (OBH), in Lansdale is looking for candidates to help provide quality care to our clients and lead our talented team. We are looking for passionate and dedicated people who are looking to making a difference in people’s lives. High Focus Centers has an extensive history of providing high-quality outpatient treatment in eastern Pennsylvania. High Focus Centers is an invaluable resource to adults and teens suffering from substance use, mental health, and/or eating disorders.
Responsibilities:
- Supervises team of therapists running adult and adolescent mental health and co-occurring programming ranging from outpatient to partial hospital.
- Evaluates potential clients for the appropriate level of care requirements and identifies their DSM VTR diagnoses, Axis I-V, as needed.
- Assists the counselors in the development of the treatment plans.
- Facilitates treatment team meetings and participates in case consults.
- Provides individual and group supervision to the counselors and other staff as assigned.
- Maintains caseload as needed and appropriate for role.
- Assists the Program Director in developing new programs for the facility.
- Clerical duties as required for maintenance of client files, including conducting chart audits.
- Listens to clients concerning all areas of treatment.
- Maintains safe, orderly and therapeutic environment for clients including crisis intervention.
- Ensures clinical program occurs daily as scheduled.
Education, Experience:
1) A Master’s Degree from an accredited college with a major in chemical dependency, psychology, social work, counseling, nursing (with a clinical specialty in administration or the human services) or other related field.
2) 5 years as an LPC, LCSW, or LMFT.
3) 5 years of experience with supervising or managing staff/clinicians.
