Who we’re looking for

The
TFS Consumer
Risk Department is
looking for a passionate and highly-motivated Residual
Value Forecasting Manager.
The Residual Value Forecasting Manager is responsible
for estimating the expected residual value expense for the TFS leasing
portfolio. This critical estimate has
important implications to the company’s P&L and acts as a check and balance
against the residual value setting process.
This position owns the market value model, return rate model, and loss
forecasting modules and leverages these models to create value-added proposals
for the organization related to pull-ahead programs, lease extensions, and
targeted term leasing. This position is
the main contact with the audit partner firm and ensures strict compliance.

What you’ll be doing
Estimate
expected residual value expense for lease portfolio using statistical
models and defined processes
Train and
manage a team of analysts supporting the forecast process.
Ensure
compliance with SOX, internal and external audit, and corporate policies.
Ensure
strong documentation, process flows, and repeatable processes.
Collaborate
with Business Intelligence to ensure data completeness and accuracy. Work with residual value team to ensure
optimal usage of data mart and expansion of information sources.
Business
owner of predictive models used for forecasting. Assist with model monitoring and
calibrations.
Leverage
statistical models to make recommendations for pull-ahead programs, lease
extensions, and targeted terms.
Leads and/or
support key corporate initiatives related to residual value forecasting.
Collaborate
with accounting and remarketing to understand all of the data fields and
processes impacting residual value expenses.
What you bring
Bachelor’s
degree required, preferably in mathematics, statistics, economics, finance, or
related quantitative discipline. MBA or
MS preferred
Thorough
knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Power Point, Word, etc.)
Strong
SQL
Competency
in SAS or R and Python
Experience
in the financial services industry
Experience
with predictive modeling
Strong
verbal and written communication skills
Adept at team
collaboration and working with diverse teams
Solid understanding
of the auto finance business
Excellent
communication skills and leadership qualities to ensure that there is an
agreement across the organization on many delicate issues
Strong project
management skills with demonstrated successful track record
Experience in
promoting and managing change
High
degree of creativity, adept at problem solving
