San Francisco Unified is looking to hire a new Proposition A Bond Program Manager!

As the 0992 Manager II, you will report to Bond Program Finance and Administration Director, be a part of the Proposition A Bond Program team and collaborate with Bond administrative staff, Contract Manager, and Project Managers in the implementation of school bond-funded construction and modernization projects.

This will be a 30- hour per week position. The SFUSD Bond Program consists of general modernization projects, IT infrastructure upgrades, student nutrition dining and kitchen facility upgrades, greening schoolyard improvements at over 140 District facilities throughout the City and County of San Francisco, and building up to two new school facilities at Mission Bay and in the Bayview district.

As Manager, you will:

  • Support the Bond Program Finance Director with strategic priorities related to the Bond Program, including annual accounting and budget development, organizational change management, and departmental infrastructure and goal setting
  • Assist the Bond Program Finance Director, the Construction Director, the Project Management Director, and Accounting and Budget staff, in establishing priorities, budgets, and timelines for Bond Program funded projects
  • Prepare and present monthly and quarterly financial reports and executive summaries of all Bond funded projects to the Citizens’ Bond Oversight Committee (CBOC), the Superintendent and the public at large
  • Provide accounting, analysis, and management expertise for contractor invoicing, authorized purchase order and contract amounts, fiscal year-end closing processes, and auditor schedules and requests
