We are looking for an experienced, dynamic, and passionate cosmetology educator to teach and mentor students in our beauty school programs. As our educator, you will be responsible for facilitating classes, monitoring student progress, and helping students build their skills to prepare for state board exams and future careers in the beauty industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement lesson plans and curricula for cosmetology and esthetics programs
- Instruct classes on topics such as hair cutting and styling, hair coloring, skin care, makeup application, manicures/pedicures, sanitation procedures, and more
- Demonstrate techniques for students and oversee practical hands-on learning
- Track student attendance, progress, and performance
- Prepare students for state cosmetology and esthetics licensing exams
- Maintain an inspiring and interactive learning environment in the classroom
- Stay updated with the latest trends and techniques in the field to provide current information to students
Requirements:
- Cosmetology license/certification in current good standing
- Minimum 2 years experience working as a cosmetologist, esthetician, or related role
- Passion for the beauty industry and enthusiasm for teaching
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to stand and move around for extended periods
- Upbeat, caring personality and plenty of patience
