  • Create test plans, procedures and support test activities for integration, performance, functional and acceptance testing of the systems.
  • Support the USAF acquisition process in all aspects of system acquisition, including planning, requirements traceability, test procedure development, test execution, and reporting.
  • Review and evaluate the quantity, quality, and overall adequacy of results and conclusions drawn from accomplishment of engineering and operational tests. Analyze, interpret, and evaluate test data and results.
  • Participate in studies and analyses to develop and verify operational and technical requirements.
  • Participate in formal technical reviews and technical interchange meetings with system developers. Provide technical evaluations of analyses and tradeoff activities, assessments of contractor technical efforts, and recommendations to the USAF Program Office.
  • Develop formal contract documentation to establish technical requirements for system integration, verification, and sustainment. Perform technical evaluations of proposals and provide recommendations.
  • Maintain test plans and procedures to adjust or expand test sets to address new capabilities.
  • Identify and assess risks to program or projects, recommend risk mitigation strategies, and implement risk reduction plans.
  • Attend and participate in Program Management Reviews (PMRs), Test Working Groups, Integrated Test Teams, Test Events (contractor/Govt site), Design Reviews (PDR & CDR) and Specification Reviews (SRRs).
  • Review and assess contractor submitted documents (e.g., milestone schedules, test reports, contractor Master Plans, and Integrated Master Schedules) to determine their accuracy and report inconsistencies.
  • Develop, review, and approve plans, schedules, and other technical documentation.
  • Prepare test reports outlining test procedures used, data and results obtained, conclusions, and pertinent recommendations and suggestions relative to the acceptability or application of item/system tested.
  • Secret Clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline with 3-7 years of related experience.
  • Experience on Dept of Defense or Air Force acquisition programs is highly desired.
