Part Time Blogger/Social Media Marketing

Seeking writer to generate engaging, original content for our website and social media. The Blogger will research topics and develop interesting posts that appeal to our target audience and promote the blog using social media, direct mail and other methods to alert and expand our readership. Writers should have the right combination of creativity, technical savvy, be informative, fresh and witty with a good command of the English language. Candidates must show examples of their work. All work must be unique and free of copyrights.

Job requirements:

Ability to work independently. Excellent writing skills and attention to detail and grammar. Topic pitching of fresh ideas. Experience with search engine optimization and content metrics.

Generating, researching and pitching ideas for posts.

Writing, editing, publishing, and promoting content.

Promoting new posts using advertisements, emails, social media, and other methods to alert and attract new readers.

Advocating and educating others about interests, products, or services.

Maximizing site traffic by utilizing Search Engine Optimization keywords.

Good understanding of social media KPIs.

Self-starter. Willing and able to handle responsibilities with little direction and lots of initiative.

Bachelor's degree in Marketing or relevant field preferred.

Proven ability to handle multiple projects, prioritize and meet deadlines.
