Principal HR Consultant - US Card

Are you eager to learn the nuts and bolts behind the HRC role?

And – have the opportunity to explore first hand client interactions and begin to perform HRC responsibilities?

US Card HR is hiring for a program/process manager to support and deliver key HR priorities for the Card Partnerships and Card Risk business; including some direct client interaction with the business.

This critical team member will partner with multiple HRC's to deliver HR and talent programs, including:

Horizontal Support: US Card Talent & Performance Management

Partner with Talent and Performance Management Champions to design and execute the annual talent and performance calendar of activities
Develop walk-around decks, communications, and training materials to be used in preparing managers and associates; may include facilitator or “train the trainer” sessions
Facilitate sessions and/or provide notes as needed
Prepare consolidated summaries for business leaders to describe outcomes of talent conversations
Complete promotion and compensation changes in Workday
Provide feedback to Card HR Chief of Staff team and Enterprise Performance Management team to help drive continuous improvement of these programs

Horizontal Support: All-Associate Survey

Partner with Communications lead to drive awareness and participation in quarterly surveys
Download and scrub comments for inclusion in summary materials
Prepare summary materials (deck and/or excel) for business leaders
Partner with HRC and business leads to develop insights and translate the results into action items

Horizontal Support: Reporting/analysis support to HRC's for client groups

Establish SME with HR data systems - Workday, Panorama, Kaleidoscope, etc.
Complete reporting as a part of key Talent Management/Performance Management/Survey processes
Provide data and reporting as needed for other requests, i.e. headcount tracking, spot bonus, spans and layers, etc on a regular and ad hoc basis
Assist with identification and selection of associates for development opportunities, training, etc

Horizontal Support: Drive projects for clients/HRC's as negotiated; examples include:

Partner with HRC and leaders to deliver on client group Diversity plans
Implement programs and activities to support people leader development
Broad scale talent planning such as organizational changes, org design planning, etc.
Master Finance Tracking to align headcount forecast and actuals
Supporting local team recognition programs

Partner with HR Lead and HRC's to ensure a well-managed team

Facilitate team meetings and partner meetings
Gather agenda topics from the HR Lead, HRC's, Partners
Distribute agenda and materials
Provide updates on key topics to ensure consistent awareness and alignment
Design and maintain HR calendar of activities and deliverables for clients and HRC's
Create the right communications channels and routines to support HRC's delivering against this calendar
Manage the process and timeline in order to deliver against this calendar
After mastering horizontal tasks, begin to interact and manage small client groups within Card Risk and/or Card Partnerships
Manage project workstreams and/or small-scale projects in support of team goals or business needs
Ensure alignment with other HRC teams in US Card
Attend weekly horizontal meetings
Partner with US Card Analytics team on dashboards and reporting
Serve as point of contact with Chief of staff and Enterprise HR teams as needed for HR processes impacting our clients

Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma, GED, or Military Experience
At least 1 year of experience in Human Resources
At least 1 year of experience in Project or Process Management

Preferred Qualifications:
Professional Human Resources Certification
At least 3 years of experience in Human Resources
At least 3 years of experience in Project or Process Management
