Environmental/Project Manager I - San Ramon, CA


General environmental, health and safety support; field geological and remediation support for clients including field condition evaluations.

Duties include the following, but are not limited to the following:

Provide technical and administrative support for environmental, health and safety compliance; auditing; report writing; site contamination investigation programs under the guidance and supervision of senior-level professionals.

Assist with the planning, preparation, and implementation of EHS site evaluations field sampling programs and protocols.

Prepare, coordinate, and operate the equipment necessary to complete the field evaluations and investigations as well as strong report writing skills.

Ability to coordinate and manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects in order to meet project or regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities may include preparing proposals, audits, and groundwater and soil sampling plans.


5-7 years general environmental, health and safety experience.

Four year degree in engineering, environmental, geology or related sciences.

Must have a working knowledge of environmental, health and safety regulations, especially for California.

Knowledge of best practices for field investigation and remedial action investigations is a plus.

Competent in writing, progressively complex reports with the ability to present information in a clear, concise and organized manner.

Self-starter with a positive attitude and with a willingness to work closely with others.

HAZWOPER training required.

Short duration travel is required.


Ability to attain professional registration in environmental, geology or engineering a plus.

Registration as a Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM), Professional Geologist (PG) or Engineer (PE) highly desired.

Environmental Certification, Professional Geologist (PG) or Professional Engineer (PE) highly desired.
