The Funplex Mount Laurel, a part of Lahn Hospitality and Amusement Group, is seeking a full-time experienced Sales Manager for its Dual Branded Hawthorn Suites and LaQuinta Hotel.
About The Funplex Mount Laurel
- Since 1997, The Funplex has owned and operated an amusement park company with three locations along the East Coast. Two locations are in New Jersey with one additional small footprint park in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina which opened in 2021. The family-owned and operated parks are a combination of family-friendly and thrill amusement rides, waterparks, bowling centers, and arcades. In addition, The Funplex opened a dual branded hotel, La Quinta and Hawthorn Suites, on its Mount Laurel property in November of 2023.

Position Description
We are looking for an exceptional sales professional to join our new Dual Branded LaQuinta and Hawthorn Suites at The Funplex!
As a key member of the property leadership team, the sales manager has influence and accountability for the revenue generation of the property. Reporting to the General Manager, the Sales Manager will be responsible for maintaining the highest level of ethical leadership to lead the property to achieve its business goals.
Job Responsibilities
- Develops, manages, and sells to new and existing accounts within assigned business segment through in-person sales and service calls.
- Performs other work that furthers individual outside sales efforts including, for example, follow-up communication via telephone and written materials, planning and preparing for outside sales solicitation, preparing proposals and sales materials, providing tours of event and park facilities, and ensuring full account support to all clients regarding on site coordination of events and activities, etc.
- Effectively coordinate with The Funplex Mount Laurel operational and sales teams to ensure outstanding service for all Stay-N-Play guests.
- Responsible for the overall sales and revenue generation of the property
- Executes the training of all associates as it relates to the sales process to maximize revenues
- Be responsible for maintaining compliance and up to date on new sales initiatives for the brand and company.
Requirements
- 4+ years of Hotel Sales Experience (Wyndham experience preferred), or 4 Years with a College Degree. (Hospitality Degree Preferred)
- Working knowledge of Opera Cloud System Preferred
- Must be dependable and willing to workdays, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must demonstrate the ability to work under pressure while multitasking, have strong organizational skills, and be able to pay attention to detail
- Strong Communicator that can work independently
- Ability to analyze revenues and communicate effectively all projected goals with the team
