Water designs, manufactures, and services innovative products and solutions for the toughest filtration, separation, flow and water management challenges in agriculture, aquaculture, food service, food and beverage processing, swimming pools, water supply and disposal, and a variety of industrial applications.

Job Summary:
Pentair is currently seeking a full-time 2nd shift Inventory Cycle Counter to work under the direct supervision of the Materials Manager. Must be able to lift frequently 3-25 lbs. and infrequently 25-40 lbs. Position also requires regular bending and reaching. Work environment is a plant with machine noise and lift truck traffic. Temperatures in plant vary by season.

Job Responsibilities:
Must be able to work closely with the Production Scheduler to develop and improve current cycle count methods.
Must be able to identify and implement root cause of inventory inaccuracies and help implement corrective actions opportunities.
Must maintain daily cycle counts and inventory accuracy to improve inventory turns.
Help maintain Kanban replenishment systems as directed.
Work closely with the Operations and Purchasing Departments to ensure a resolution to inventory errors in a timely matter.
Assist Production Scheduler maintain JD Edwards system to ensure maximum accuracy and efficiency.
Record and track performance measurement as directed by the manager.
Coordinate problem orders with production and inventory control.
Conduct audits for 5S and Safety.
Must be able to stand for entire shift of 8 hours, work overtime and weekends to meet business demands.
Must be able to work independently and also with team.
Must maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow required safety regulations.
Must be able to demonstrate safe work practices and understanding of workplace safety requirements.
Must be able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by work area, such as safety glasses, ear plugs, hard hats, gloves and steel toe shoes.
Must follow all established company SAFETY processes.
Must be able to identify unsafe conditions and report them to department team leader, supervisor, manager or EHS Coordinator.
Deal with complexity in a fast pace manufacturing environment.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Requirements:
Education - High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Strong English communication skills (read, write and speak).
Basic Math skills.
OSHA approved forklift license, required.
Minimum 2 years’ experience in Inventory Control role, preferred.
Follow standard work procedures.
Follow all established company SAFETY processes.
Basic knowledge of LEAN techniques.
