Well Established Company Seeking an HR Part-time Generalist in Yuba City!

Our client is looking to hire just the right individual to join their team in Yuba City. Only experienced HR generalists, who can provide sound HR guidance, need apply.

Working from our Yuba City office, you will be responsible for performing HR-related duties as part of the Corporate Human Resources team. This role reports to the Manager of Human Resources located in the eastern United States. This is a 20 hours per week position.

You would be working with a forward thinking company, committed to providing quality products and services to its clients, with a highly experienced team of employees. This company is a leader in the design and manufacture of bearings for rotating equipment. California Employers Association is the recruiter for this position located in Yuba City, CA.

Role Responsibilities:  Assists employees and supervisors with the interpretation of HR policies and procedures. Responds to various internal and external inquiries.  Handles employee relations, counseling and conducts investigations. With support from Manager of HR, coaches, counsels and guides supervisors/managers.  Conducts all steps involved in organization's recruitment efforts  Provides support in the area of benefit administration.  Coordinates and/or delivers training on various HR-related topics for employees and management.  Utilizes ERP system and HRIS database as resources in completing day-to-day duties. Generates scheduled or requested reports in systems.  Maintains high standards of confidentiality when handling all employee files, records and personnel actions.  Stays abreast of industry trends and employment legislation and assists in ensuring organization's compliance. Education and Experience  Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S) from a four-year college or university in Human Resources, Business, or Psychology plus two to four years of related experience or training required.  Human Resource Certification Institute - PHR and/or Society of Human Resources Management - SHRM-CP preferred.  Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Compensation is up to $28.00 per hour DOE.
