Join our team as a Sales Leadership Development Program Manager, where you'll play a pivotal role in identifying, recruiting, and nurturing the next generation of leaders for our winery. Collaborating closely with SLDP Managers, you'll ensure their staffing needs are met with high-potential candidates, supporting their professional growth and success.
In this role, you will lead an effective college sales recruitment program, engaging with key recruiting sites across the region and partner distributors. Utilize our LinkedIn recruiter seat to maintain a robust national pipeline of qualified applicants and execute innovative digital recruiting strategies on platforms like LinkedIn and Instagram. Your responsibilities will include managing our internship program in California, supporting distributor partners by presenting top-tier business-minded candidates, and monitoring their development in best-in-class business and sales practices.
You'll also play a crucial role in our national diversity partnerships and initiatives, and participate in outreach efforts at targeted colleges and universities to enhance our recruiting diversity. Additionally, you'll oversee the planning of regional recruiting conferences, retention, and mentor events, ensuring the continuous development and readiness of our winery and distributor sales employees.
As a mentor and coach, you'll guide new SLPDs through their milestones program, track mentor program activities, and communicate progress. You'll stay ahead of recruiting trends, leveraging social media to maintain a solid pipeline of qualified candidates and implement new social media structures for Gallo's SLDP programs. Your efforts will ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, maintaining accurate records of recruiting activities and supporting the overall objectives of Gallo Sales LDP efforts.

What You Will Need:

High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate.

Bachelor's degree plus 2 years of Gallo winery sales, Gallo affiliated or non-affiliated distributor sales, Gallo sales HR, or Gallo sales recruiting experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility OR Bachelor's degree plus 3 years of external selling experience.

Experience managing projects.

Required to be 21 years of age or older.

Required to see, smell and taste wine and spirits as part of job duties.

Candidate is required to have a valid driver’s license, a safe driving record and reliable vehicle (if applicable) at the time of hire. This position will undergo a motor vehicle check (MVR) to confirm a history of safe and responsible driving. If needed, candidate must obtain the appropriate state driver’s license based on the position’s location within 30 days of hire.

Required to travel by airplane or automobile up to 30% of the time.

Compensation:

Hiring Salary Range Posted: $89,100.00 - $133,700.00 / year

Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
