Sprinkle & Sweep in Victorville, CA, is searching for a quality-oriented Manufacturing Associate who is dependable and looking for opportunities for exciting career growth. This individual is a fast learner with a strong sense of urgency to meet deadlines. We value great attitudes and excellent work ethics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Production: Operate in-house machinery to produce cutting-edge pet care products, ensuring consistency with quality standards and deadlines.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse environment. Monitor and manage inventory of supplies and equipment.
- Shipping & Receiving: Handle all aspects of shipping and receiving, including preparing products for shipment, managing incoming deliveries, and ensuring accurate documentation.
- Quality Control: Perform regular inspections on the production line to ensure products meet our high standards. Report any issues or discrepancies to management.
- Inventory Management: Track and monitor inventory levels, submit daily production reports, and coordinate with the team to ensure timely restocking of materials.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate forklifts and other machinery as needed, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Documentation: Keep detailed and organized records of production activities, inventory levels, and shipping/receiving logs.
- Innovation: Apply creative thinking to improve production processes and warehouse operations. Suggest and implement innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and quality.
Additional Duties:
- Collaborate with the team to streamline production processes and improve efficiency.
- Assist in on-boarding new team members, sharing your knowledge and expertise to help them succeed.
- Participate in company meetings and training sessions to stay informed and contribute ideas for improvement.
- Other responsibilities as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in production, warehouse, shipping, and receiving.
- Strong mechanical abilities are a must.
- Experience with operating forklifts.
- Must be a self-starter, able to work under minimal supervision, and be reliable and responsible.
- Able to prioritize workload, with a strong eye for quality on the production floor.
- Must be well-organized and serious about keeping detailed notes.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 75 lbs.
