Position Overview: We are seeking a diligent and skilled Extraction Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining cleanliness, efficacy, and efficiency of the manufacturing processes. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and adherence to cGMP guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain extraction equipment.
- Follow detailed production protocols to ensure consistent product quality.
- Accurately calibrate scales and balances to ensure proper measurement.
- Create records in accordance with all regulations.
- Perform quality checks and record data accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to cGMP and safety standards.
- Assist with the setup, calibration, and maintenance of production equipment.
- Monitor inventory levels of raw materials
- Lift and transport materials weighing up to 50 pounds as needed.
- Stand for extended periods during the production process.
- Additional job duties as assigned
Skills and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment, preferably in the food, pharmaceutical, or cannabis industry.
- Familiarity with cGMP guidelines and practices.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Basic math skills for measuring and mixing ingredients.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain on your feet for the majority of the workday.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and record-keeping.
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve minor production issues.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends, if necessary.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in food safety or a related field.
- Knowledge of cannabis extraction and processing techniques.
- Extraction experience.
