RTC Program Manager - Swing Shift

Overview

The program manager is responsible for overseeing, coordinating and executing the program schedule and working to achieve high client satisfaction. The program schedule includes exercise activities, outings, meetings, service projects, visitation, game and movie nights, phone time, etc. Responsibilities also include handling client requests, monitoring self administration medication and recording shift logs in the EHR system and cleaning duties. The ideal candidate has experience in substance abuse and mental health treatment. If you are in recovery and have at least two years, you could be a good candidate. If you are a client focused problem solver, we want your skills. This is a full-time position. The shifts could be any days of the week and includes one weekend day or swing shift per week (for example Tues-Sat or Sun-Thurs. The work location in Big Cottonwood canyon across the street from the Brighton Ski Resort.

Compensation:

The position starts at $17/hr with raise after 90-days.

Hours

The swing shift is from approximately 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm.

Minimum Qualifications

  • If in recovery minimum of 2 years clean/sober
  • High school diploma
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Pass Utah DHS background screening
  • Pre-employment and ongoing random drug testing

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience working with substance abuse and mental health preferred.
  • A self-motivated individual with an intuitive sense for patient care. We really try to provide individualized treatment and while there are universal rules to maintain order and safety, we are looking for employees who can collect the facts, consider the outcome based what is going on and make some situational based decisions and also have the judgment of when to ask for help. This is a job where those who do the best enforce rules with a laugh and a smile. Firm gentle reminders, not a dominating enforcer. Keeping strong boundaries in this position is essential.
