As a non-profit community hospital, Fitzgibbon Hospital is vital to the health and well-being of the communities it serves in the Marshall, MO and surrounding area. We are looking for a self-driven compassionate Sleep Lab Technologist to join our EEG/Sleep Lab team. We offer a competitive salary and benefit package.

  • Part-Time
  • 7p-6a (nights)
  • 40 hours every two weeks
A Sleep Lab Technologist:
  • Performs polysomnography (PSG)/titration studies
  • Measures and applies electrodes according to technical standards
  • Troubleshoots and produces artifact-free recordings
  • Follows guidelines for successful titration
  • Performs maintenance of database and equipment
  • Accurately documents findings
Candidate needs to have the following:
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Associates Degree (Respiratory Therapy/END Tech)
  • Excellent bedside manner and communication skills
  • 1-3 years of direct patient care experience preferred

About our EEG/Sleep Lab Department
Accredited by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, the EEG/Sleep Lab at Fitzgibbon Hospital has completed a rigorous review process to ensure that we meet nationally-accepted standards of care. Our personnel are well qualified, through education and certification, to perform initial sleep studies, CPAP/Titration studies (day or night) and split night studies.

The Sleep Lab at Fitzgibbon Hospital is located in the Outpatient Clinic on the hospital campus. We offer our patients:

  • RRT, RST or RPSGT not required, but preferred
